Calmos - Caldeira do Mosteiro

Calmos was born on the island of Flores with the purpose of reviving the Caldeira do Mosteiro, promoting the Flores Island heritage, culture, and memory of Flores and the Azores.

Teresa Salema and Manuel Menezes de Sequeira, founding partners, first visited the Azores in 1991. For over 20 years they returned as tourists, hiking trails between coastal plains and calderas, and navigating the crystal-clear waters in nautical activities. In 2018, they decided to move to Flores and found the company, transforming their passion into a life project.

They share a passion for nature, history, and local traditions, promoting hiking trails that start from the Caldera and other Florentine cultural experiences.
